Yes, there have been backlogs before, but on this scale?  In the example you gave, they said this: "...the turnaround for assays had jumped from two weeks to eight." It's been much longer than that for some of the other area plays.  And how long has it been since NFG sent those 'rush samples' to Australia?  And since those samples cleared customs?    ...more

No problem getting technicians.  The work is formulated.  The same thing day in and day out.  I used to work in a lab.  It only required a highschool level education.  There are a lot of collage level students available.

So I did, and heard back within minutes (that's great PR).  Here is the reply: The reason we are limiting our results to one hole at a time is not intentional. If you refer back to our release of November 4th, we have been working on a very extensive QAQC review that we anticipate to be completed here in early February. Until a resolution to our QAQC resolution is reported, the bulk of ...more

Good on you Flyder and great response. Although we will not probably not get drill results this week we have essentially got some with buy recommends from BMO and TD.  Int the old days this was enough for investors to pile in. Both have us pegged to to ten bucks to start ....I will take it. Shock and awe is drawing near. IKE

Thanks, good work Flyder! That's the secret. If you have a question don't ask posters on this board as we generally don't have the answer. Ask management. I have found them to be very responsive. Although a couple of weeks ago I asked them if two drills were drilling at Eastern Pond. No response! But I'm not surprised by that.as you can't expect an answer to every ...more

Based on the 8 Nov PR re Chrysos testing in Perth, many assumed a few core holes were dispatched. The PR never mentioned this number. It may have been 1 or more. Anyway someone can fire this off to the company if they want to but the answer to the QC question should be known sometime in Feb. A week in Feb has already passed. The countdown is on. I also wonder how many core hole assay reports are ...more

shock and awe would be nice....I still have faith NFG will come through...it just gets frustrating waiting and I am sure it is not all NFGs fault but the changes technology brings as in assay methods and the irritation that Covid has brought on us all...just need more patience

You would think the labs would put on three shifts 7 days a week.

And where would you hire the technicians? So easy to say this but think, same as people say have smaller class sizes, where does one find trained teachers.
