Bid/Ask

Looks like someone wants to get rid of a bunch of shares this morning. Lot's offered at 8 bucks.

I wonder if that huge sell at 8 CAD was just a way to drive down the price before buying or else was really someone wanting to move on. I guess it could also be an algorythm adjusting the balance in a large fund at the end of the month. Any thoughts? Erie

We don't know who is selling, but one thing is sure, the stock will rebound strongly when this block will be out of the way. Time to buy, not to sell!

You don't want to spook the market which is what has happened today. Nothing to worry about in my opinion. There is lots of gold out there on the ...more

Megacopper, by 'insider' do you mean some market maker who is acquiring for a client, or do you really mean a company insider?

Actual insider. The market maker's main role is to provide daily liquidity for the stock and ensure orderly trading. There could be a firm accumulating shares on behalf of an insider. Yes it's possible I guess but I doubt it. Most insiders of gold juniors already have lots of shares through options obtained for working with the company and rarely need to buy on the open ...more

Yes Megacopper my friend in crime and deep feelings and rum and believer in Godzilla. Eric Sprott is listed as having and controlling 23% so lettuce just say a quarter of the  company but please do not forget his tentacles are in a lot more Newfoundland companies most of in for at least 20 to 30% so to update your last statement. ....good indicator of the future prospects for that company ...more
