I should translate that for the wags:

Epithermal veins dont normally go deeper than 300 m so dont bet on more ozs at depth.

Complex veiny geology is not a good thing.

A market cap of $800m equates to 3 m ozs. They dont have 3m ozs.

1 m ozs equates to a market cap of no more than $268m  or $1.70 a share.

Certain subsections of a previously announced hole were reannounced which is not a good sign as they perhaps have nothing new and better to report.

Institutions wont touch it.

It will take 15 years to get to 5 m ozs at the current rate.

Epithermal veins can reach a depth of 1000 meters. The average is 350 meters.

Hey, Im just repeating what I was told by an extremely well qualified geo. Im not here to argue with anyone. I usually wait for Fridays for that. Beezle

I have so many bloggers on ignore I missed the first part of this thread.  The Queensway mineralization is ~430 million years old.  Most of the epithermal veins, containing Hg, As, Sb etc, have been eroded away.  The current veins are Epithermal/Mesothermal.  How deep the gold mineralization extends is unknown at this time.  My guess is that extends down kilometres.  ...more

Wajac you have been forwarned....do not mix it up with Buc to peril of you soul. He is all consuming and not worth the agravation. Many have him on ignore and by not you are only incouraging him to stay . I have seen him kill boards which I believe is his goal. IKE

Thanks Ike. I have no one on ignore, not even you, although, at times I have been tempted!
Comment by GGGsOldFriend on Jul 28, 2022 8:50pm
I use 'ignore' liberally. It helps keep the board clean, but only to an extent. I still have to wade through all the posts by those who respond to the trolls. If I could have my way, everyone would voluntarily ignore the trolls, or, at minimum, refrain from replying to any troll posts. The trolls diminish the value and effectiveness of the board by populating it with so many useless posts. ...more

Wajac, that was cute...but some of us managed to get Ike to get you off of Ignore quite some time ago...as I thought you were/are a valuable contributor (and that your heart was in the right place).  Now we have a whole new set of non-contributing A$$holes...and your support, along with quite a growing number of other folks that are simply fed up with all this is both essential - and ...more

You can mark me down as one of the ones fed up with all the craziness on this board lately. Nobody is happy with the current share price but it isn't company specific. The entire gold has been beaten up for months now. Just go look at Barrick Gold's ABX stock chart and it's nearly identical to that of NFG for the last several months. Nothing to do with the company. NFG ...more

Eldreco, I remember an old saying that goes something like this: No man is your enemy; no man is your friend; every man is your teacher.
