NFG royalties

Nfg should do what Gbr did and start a royalties company. Follow a winning formula. Also not sure why everyone on here wants nfg to mine. They are an exploration company. Drill the property like swiss cheese and sell it to the highest bidder. Thats how you make the most out of these juniors.

Why give it away when you can sell it. Willie

At their current burn rate NFG's bank balance will be exhausted in early 2023.  They have two options: A) go the equities markets and pump out more shares; and B) live off the land.  If they have hundreds of millions of dollars of gold just underneath their boots (yet to be confirmed) I would rather they live off the land. I'm all in favour of drill baby, drill but drilling ...more

They just filed a $300 million US prospectus. All NFG  shareholders should read it!

My hunch is a flow-through equity financing in either October or November - at least NFG should be able to get a nice premium on the 20 or 30 day trailing weighted average share price as they pass the tax breaks they can't take advantage of along to Eric Sprott (or whoever purchase the privete placement) who can use them to reduce their own taxes.

Im looking fwd to that. By then it should be down to about $3.00 a share but I still wont buy eh:) Willie

They wont do a financing at this price makes no sense, they still have plenty of money and it would be way too dilutive. I could see them doing one at 10$ but not in october-november like you keep saying every week haha. Tons of bashers on here hoping for lower prices to get in cause they have no money to buy in at these prices or higher

Goldz, Agreed...but what if the PPS wais $10. in Oct/Nov?  I think it could happen.  I think these guys have a number of tricks up their sleeves.  What would you say then? The bashers are not here to buy in (if they can possibly avoid it) - at least get that part straight! el d
Comment by Goldziggy on Aug 04, 2022 10:07pm
Yes i think Nfg can easily get to 10$ by oct/nov.  Any financing under 10$ would not be good. They need to somehow keep the number of shares low. So the only way to do that and minimize share dliution would be to get the share price higher if they want to do a financing. Ideally something like the one they did at 11$ and change for 50 million dollars. The higher the bettter for all stock ...more

Thanks.  I've never followed the SBB story - so, I will take you at your word. To do a financing at $10...it has to be $10 with conviction!  Investors must see a clear path beyond that number...and therein lies the rub! As I say this - thinking on your thoughts on dilution (which we all share!) - sitting here, unfortunately I readily see the parallels with what the Fed is doing ...more

This might be a dumb question but I'm in Australia and most financings are offered to all shareholders based on current holdings thus preserving existing holding percentages if the offer is taken up. I know it's a lot easier doing placements to large shareholders but can anyone see an offer to all shareholders happening?

NFG had just under $85M in cash on March 31 (source: NFG financial statements for the quarter ended March 31 which were released on SEDAR May 16). We won't know how much cash they have left (excluding marketable securities) until they release their financial statements as at June 30 (release date last year was August 27) and their September 30 financial statements (release date last year as ...more

Has been years since I worked in this field.....however for what it is worth here are my ideas. In order to mine the near surface deposit the work would likely be contracted out.  Stripping the overburden would be done with a bulldozer in no time at all, and hauled away quickly. Drilling and blasting for 125x50x25m would also be contracted out easily. A crusher would be hauled in by ...more

If I was running NFG I would be giving serious consideration to quarring selective ares of Keates North, loading the ore into trucks and shipping the ore to the nearest gold mill.  The richness of the ore (I'm guessing 1 oz/m3) would make the shipping cost negligible. If the up front cost is also negligible the only hinderance is defining the zones.  I suspect that will see a great ...more
