Before that, an initial resource will need to be calculated and announced. This will be dynamite for NFG's SP. Remember high grade gold produces multiples of revenue that non high grade gold

In your classic mine building scenario a deposit is discovered, then defined and then developed into a mine.  The share price craters during development.  NFG's mine(s) in Appleton North will represent only a tiny bit of their claim package.  As such, their will be plenty of opportunity for further exploration during mine development.  I'm unconvinced that NFG's ...more

You could be right and I hope you are. But look at MOZ at Valentine Lake. It has 4 million ounces. It's still drilling but share price is hovering around the dollar mark. However there may be a subtle difference that I don't see.

  I think building a mine maybe premature the key here is getting the resource estimate that will drive the share price higher and attract a lot of interest from the larger players

  maybe he was thinking they would be taken out before that I can't see it happing without a resource estimate I could see a major partnering up with them and speNding the money for earned interest in the project and eventually buying out all the shareholders at some point
