Press release

Numerous companies drilled Appleton North before NFG sunk it's first hole there.  NFG had a new geological interpretation and a horshoe up it's ***.  Queensway South has seen scant historical attention.  For a first pass/blind drill programme akin to poking holes around Appleton North blindly they had a lot of success and proved that Queensway south hosts the same type of gold mineralization as Queensway north.

It remains to be seen if they follow up on it or leave it to others,

The obvious follow up is with seismic. This is probably why they applied for approval for 48 square kms for this work. Come on seismic results.

Surprised me to see the depth of a couple of these holes. I don't recall anything like it at Keats Main Zone. I wonder why

In a first pass drill programme you don't know what you are going to find or at what depth.  If the rock layers are vertical a common technique is to punch a hole through the entire rock package and see what you see.
