Press release

Cokes is a possible new open pit target and fills in the area west of the KMZ and south of Keats West.  The grades are perfectly acceptable for an open pit model.

They are almost finished processing the 2023 core.

Would 43.8m x 3.2gt be economic for trucking. If not, would a compactor on site make this grade viable for trucking?
Comment by Retiredgeo on Feb 22, 2024 10:45am
Only high grade, uncrushed ore can be economically trucked 2-3 hours to a mill.  In all scenarios I envision them setting up a crusher and gravity concentrator on site.  The concentrate, however dirty, would then be trucked to the mill.

Yeah, some day there could be fantastic synergy and infra sharing with Calibre (CXB) Valentine mine being built but they are too big of a bite. Just 2.5 hours away i believe.
