The shorts have won!  I've come to realize that money in the banking system is important.  Gold may look nice but you can's eat it... well maybe just a few flakes at a time.

Claims that NFG is being held down by the shorts are unfounded.  It is down with the rest of the group and will recover with the rest of the group.  As a speculative buy I rate it very poorly.  It is a long term value hold and should be accumulated as such.

It is not unfounded if the short selling is naked, controlled by bots at banks and hedge funds.  The entire group is traded by bots because miners and minerals are out of favour.   The resource sector is broken, for now.  The only way to change it is sue and/or jail them. EK

It's  nothing  sold his 25 shares  , volumes is low bringing down price from $5.12. No big deal , badhers enjoy getting  a rise out of someone,  it's  their mentality.

Every sector its out of favor except AI, downturn in gold sector has began long time ago, because of crazy spending and despite higher metal prices, producers earned less and less, this is a well known fact, inflation made things even worse, now things are turning, mgmts are smarter, because money left, but who loaded on producers in this difficult times was smart, look today, last week,some are

Junior gold producers have done very well as I have doubles in the last 6 months with two of mine. Its the exploration companies that have been laggards due to investor expectations that the capex cost and time to begin mining, from the MRE to eventual production can be quite substantial and might extend to 7-8 years . Interim equity dilution will be substantial ending up with substantial debt as
