Lil Shorty needs to 'paint the tape'.

But, to keep the share price from moving higher, Lil Shorty has to sell Short MORE shares.....a dilemma.....it's the opposite of catching a falling knife.

My guess is that Lil Shorty has been HIRED to hold back the Share price of NFG as much as possible.

If BIG Gold does g et to Buy In to NFG, the shares Big Gold buys will be able to cover the Short position.

If NFG REBUFFS any Buy Ins or Buy Outs, Lil Shorty will be directed to cover the Short position.

Thus, the Short positions purpose may well be just to lower the price of any Buy In or Buy Out.....NOT to actually make money by covering at lower prices from here.

This scenario seems the most likely to me regarding the Short positions purpose.

I'm surprised  sprott  hasn't  taken  the  shorts out with the amount he has invested. Sprott  knows the game well.

ell, its an expensive game trying to manipulate the share price. The SHort position was at one point j7st under 1 million shares between the two ecchanges. Now Lil Shorty is up to almost 2 million shares short between the two exchanges.

Okay...one more time....this stock is a trade. The range is right in front of your faces. Like I have been saying time and time again...the stock currently is at the top of its range at 5 dollars (solid resistance). But hey your call if you want to be long...but there is money to be made in the trade.

It is a buy at this level any pull back or price below 5.20 is a gift and should be taken advantage of for those that are looking to add or take a position just my opinion and what iam doing personally
