On November 17, 2023, the Company announced the completion of the Keats trench excavation and phase I mapping program.
The trenching program was designed to expose nearly 200m of strike over a 70m wide area,
Total Mineralized Surface area is therefore 14,000 Sq meters .
Based on the estimate of gold ounces contained beneath the Marathon three open pits ( 12.2 ounces per sq meter ....see calibration table below..Keats Trench contains about 160,000 ounces.
This estimate assumes just 1.9 grams per ton grade
Using K2 reported grade of 15.4 grams per ton ( 99 ounces per square meter ) the estimated ounces are about 1.4 million ounces contained in the Keats Trench ( to about 250 m depth drilled).
At the average QW grade of 10 grams ( 64 ounces per sq m of defined surface area ), approximately 900,000 ounces would be the contained ounces in the Keats Trench to its Nov 2023 drilled defined depth.
As this is in all probability the Zone that Ronnie has selected for initial mining, that Trench shallow open pittable gold resource should support multiple years of 100,000 - 150,000 ounces of gold production.
