Reaching A Proper Valuation

Ok, the recent Osisko deal went for 1.67x premium. That currently puts us at roughly $5/sh.
The NFGC site says we have 15 M oz AU=
$2400/oz X 15M Divided by 2 (gold is still in the ground) Divided by number of shares
Using 200M to be conservative.
That puts us around $90/share.
There's probably more than 15M oz.
And YOU KNOW Sprott would want more than $5/share.
I'm just thinking out loud here and I'm an amateur.
Let's see some real Nerderosity here...
Quant this mofo!

Could you show us where it says on the website that NFG has 15 million ounces? I just had a look and couldn't find it.
Comment by Gangsterme on Aug 13, 2024 1:07pm
Nobody has an idea of the number of ounces. You are a geologist and do not know that a MRE would determine this and one has not yet been done. Come on. They are an exploration company and continue to explore, Why do an MRE when open in all directions.
Comment by explogeo on Aug 13, 2024 1:21pm
Well, we have the above poster stating that it's on the website so I'd like for them to show it to us to justify his post.  I know they haven't done an MRE, that's what we're all waiting for.

Anyone that works in the field of geology that's been following this story since discovery.  Assays have been great since day one, true width estimates have been sub par but it's a highly complex system so it's understandble. Almost 650k metres in the ground in ~4 years and no MRE? Makes a lot of people wonder why the company would wait so long to do one. In the world of geology, ...more

Please explain how a true width estimate can be sub par? You do not appear to understand geological terms.

PR-Sept.13 2023   Technical Report-June 4 2023   NFGC-23-1331 is a good example. They originally posted a 40-70% TW on the main hit from 136.4-180.50m. The new TW is undetermined meaning it’s likely very low. The intercept at 214-216.3  was originally labelled as  70-95% TW and the revised width is Undetermined, once again meaning they’re likely very low.   NFGC-21-118 ...more

Explo the grade is so high it's all about perspective and comparing like with like, do you have any idea of the TW width for the Fosterville Swan Zone, I believe QH said the widths for the Swan mineralisation were narrow.
Comment by Gangsterme on Aug 13, 2024 3:24pm
So the true widths were and are being estimated as more information is available. That does not translate to being sub par as you stated earlier. True width determination of a wandering vein is not an easy calculation, thus the huge difference in %. To use the one example you used of a true width of 40%-70%, this would mean a difference of up to 75%. Wonder why an MRE is not forthcoming when one ...more

With the bulk of the ~650k metres drilled in QWN, true widths shouldn't have a 75% differential especially when drill spacings are already ~15-20m.
Comment by alwil106 on Aug 14, 2024 2:35pm
Typical drill results from Kirkland Swan zone ETW estimated true width. igh-grade Swan Zone (“Swan”) mineralization extended 80 m down-plunge Key intercepts:    87.6 g/t Au over 7.6 m (ETW 5.5 m);                             45.0 g/t Au over 5.2 m (ETW 4.7 m); and         ...more

You must realize how significant the difference is between what you just posted from Kirkland Lake to what NFG puts in a PR? Kirkland Lake knew and understood the system enough to actually publish a TW estimate. NFG simply states 70-95%, 40-70% in the fine print of the PR. They aren't confident enough to give it a true value which is very concerning considering drill intercepts are as close as ...more

So you condemn people for posting numbers with no proof and yet you post a comment stating they have done an in house resource as a fact and yet there is no proof. You know what I think,I think your bucco.
Comment by InspectHerBooby on Aug 13, 2024 11:45pm
Who the F is Bucco? I'm just a guy " in the States" who wants this GOLD DISTRICT MASSIVE DEPOSIT to be properly valued. When you look up historical charts on BRE-X that are in the hundreds  And they had NO GOLD AND WE DO Then This Should be a "meme stock" because it is worth a lot Let's see you crunch some numbers....

A number of shorter trolls showed up on this bullboard in August 2021 after the Crux short report.  They can be distinguished by their negative attitudes, attacks, foul language, immaturity, insulting nicknames, zero feedbacks and stock charts cherry picked from the index.  They have no shares.  They never did have any shares.  Their job is to send the shares lower.  They ...more
