Short Squeeze action going on.

The AMEX has gone from around 500k + short position to 2100k + short position in the past 6 weeks or so. Very strange since it's always been pretty stable around the 500k level.

I thought this big increase was the source of capping then dropping the last big rally, and taking it to new lows.

Wonder if some new player got involved, and in the past few days might be saying " Oh oh?", and covering ASAP......hmmm?

They'll have to cover their short positions when their bet against NFGC missed the target. It's just a matter of time.
