Continuity and high grade gold

The two never go together.  By definition high grade gold comes and it goes.  You mine out the entire vein/shear zone/damage zone and average it.  They are finding continuity in gold bearing structure.  That is what is important.

Press releases don't move the needle anymore.  It is 3 years later!  What will move the needle is interest from a mining company.  It could happen at any time.

There are a lot of new bloggers with low feedbacks bashing this stock.  If they don't like it they should sell and be gone.

They proably don't own it nothing has changed NFG continues to find more gold and continues to derisk while the majors make record profits that they will use at some point to go shopping  and NFG will be on one or more of these majors list

Agree, if we wake up one morning with a halt and then news of a major taking a 10% interest at a per share price of 2 times or more existing price, then the ball game changes in minutes. Think it cannot happen, well I got news for you, I  held a stock about 20 years ago trading at $2.40 on a Thursday close, and on Friday it halted with news of one of the big majors taking a 10% interest at $5 ...more

suregold2...so you held a stock for 20 YEARS only to get a double out of it. You know a GIC would have returned better over that time period? So funny...and you hope the same happens to NFG? Just wow the stuff I read on this board.

I did not hold it for 20 years. It was one I had 20 years ago!

There can be localized concentrations of high grade gold in high grade gold mines.  The Fosterville Swan zone certainly falls into that category.  The central dilation of the KMZ will also fall into that category.  Neither are that voluminous and you don't need a large volume of high grade gold rock to generate +1 million ozs. Every high grade intersection NFG has pumped out ...more

Dear Retiredgeo, when do you think we may be able to get some assays back from the lab on the KMZ channel sampling, please?
Comment by Global1966 on Sep 21, 2024 4:21am
DL said in his Beaver Creek presentation that was scrapped it would be in the Fall. Anytime from 22 Sept to 21 December
Comment by Patient1nvestor on Sep 23, 2024 3:06am
In other words, at any time in the next three months, not long to wait. Thank you for sharing.
Comment by nozzpack on Sep 23, 2024 6:16am
Snowline has been publishing regular assay results. Channel sampling ended 10 weeks ago. Surely, not anytime in the next three months..

I'm no geologist but the Iceberg assays look spectacular
Comment by Retiredgeo on Sep 21, 2024 6:08am
So were the KMZ assays. So will the trench assays from the East-West vein.  So were some of the assays from Keats West, Lotto, Golden Joint etc etc.  They have got high grade gold coming out the ying yang.  Note the open pit bias of the critics from Rick Rule to Iceberg research.  They want predictable (low grade) continuity.  Mining high grade gold from underground ...more

Look at the advance AI is making and how this will improve efficiencies in underground mining. Drones are already being used for mapping underground. Drilling for blasting is now operated remotely in some mines as well as some of the haulage equipment. This leads to greater safety and more efficient and cost effective mining.  Some  of you question the personnel, okay, then explain why ...more

I am here because my analyses shows that Queensway is a premium gold discovery and probably a new gold district . Management has not provided shareholders with their clear strategic plan as to what and when, except keep drilling. In addition , they have lost millions of shareholders money by wasting it on moose pasture to the detriment of advancing our discoveries at Queensway . As for Labrador ...more

When can we reasonably expect to get some of the results back from the channel sampling of the KMZ, please?
