Another Methodologic Estimate of Tceberg Trench
Iceberg Trench Zone is 220m of strike length over a 105m wide area .How much gold beneath this zone to 150 m of depth ?
A previous estimate using V Lake proprotion of economic ounces within the estimated volume of rock drilled beneath the trenc to a depth of 150 meters arrive at 630,000 ounces.
In this method, I use the raw uncut grades of Iceberg ( global mean of all assay grades including dusters ( ie total rock volume drilled with no cutoff ) contained within the 2024 TR
The Calculations..
Dimensions L 220 m by W 105 m D 150 m
S Gravity 2.8 tons per cu m
Grade 0.69 grams per ton ( 2024 TR )
We have....
3.5 million Cu meters of ore plus waste ore
3.5 m cu m times 2.8 tons per cu m = 9,8 m tons of ore within Iceberg Trench open pit
Contained ounces is 9.8 m tons times 0.69 grams per ton =220,000
I view this as a conservative estimate as definition and grade control drilling would be concentrated on strata/lodes containing economic grade ore.
Regardless , this estimate amounts to $775 million CAD in contained gold ounces, in such a small area to a shallow depth of 150 meters.
To test mine this by bulk mining, along with Keats Trench should be of the highest priority .
