The Fact

Fact is that metals actually took a wild ride recently, but explorers are not rewarded at all. Every time metals gone up, little happened with miners. But when metals show any downward pressure, miners got punished big time... some explorers sitting at 52 week low!

Yes, true. Still, I have listened to many many podcasts of experts in this space, including generalist investment professionals who have become experts in this resource sector, such as Lawrence Lepard, and the undeniable fact is that the stocks of this universe of resource exploration and development companies, and producers, too, are the most undervalued they have ever been in history ...more

The days are nearly over when fat bald men with glasses run the resource info pages.  The younger generatiion is taking over, and most are under 40, with a lot more women then ever bofore entering the investment space. Methods of reaching potential investors with newsletters is nearly dead and the times they are a changing.   Nobody wants to read all the details.  They want ...more

This is a good point EK, finally. Another reason that the young executive team needs to wake up to the reality that you need to effectively promote your company as a stellar investment with great potential (assuming that's true of course). Look at Perpetua Resources in Idaho ( PPTA on NASDAQ). I have seen them use a professional promotion campaign, highlighting their story, and their stock ...more

That is not a good point Warren. Only 30% of millenials (1981-1997) invest in the stock market and most don't know how the stock market works. (Google it) They are into crypto not exploration mining stocks. That's the domain of the boomers who remember the good ol' days of the 80's and 90's and they are starting to die off.

Well, I was commenting on the notion that maybe you can't rely just upon newsletters to get out the story of a great opportunity in an up coming resource exploratiin / development stock. Maybe you need to hire a professional firm to promote your company's stock of you believe your stock is not reflecting its true value. My view has been that it is very ironic that the young investors are ...more

The young population is a small segment of the investing community as another poster has stated and most have very small portfolios The mining investing community is a small community when the MRE is complete and if it is good investment will come into it period. The available float to the reatail investor isn't really that large so even a small segment of the retail investor could move this ...more

Eh Dixie, the old cruty bearded guys that invested in the 70's or 80's are at an end.  they are dying out. The system is changing before your eyes.  Now there is a cross-over of investment styles that the younder generation is involved in, and the mineral space is just one of them.   You don't seem to have a clue what you are talking about.  Go and listen to ...more

Trump inherited truck loads of money from his father, he ran his businesses to the ground, one bankruptcy after another. His net worth was less than his inheritance at today's money before he became president for the first time. Do you honestly trust him in resolving the fiscal issues neglected for decades under different administrations, setting aside our political inclinations?
