Retiredgeo, \nozzpack, Blademaster and others

Many thanks for these informative posts - one last question -

A poster just a little back in the thread wondered the same thing out loud -

Which / how many of the known gold zones will have sufficient drilling to be included in NFG's maiden MRE?

And ( 2 questions , i guess) given that most currently known resources seem to lie within the first 250 metres depth - is this potential ore amenable to open pit extraction and what might be expected waste to ore ratios?

Feeling bad here guys - all questions and no contributions - appreciate your tolerance.

When I contacted the company with the question which areas and holes would be covered in the MRE they said all existing holes  and trenches will be included in MRE

You can expect the big ones to be included - KMZ, Iceberg, Lotto, Golden Joint, Lotto North, K2, Keats West. This is mostly underground mine country.  Keats West is an exception to the rule.  Where the veins intersect the surface small open pit mines can be created.  The ore to waste ratio should be very high but volume will be limited..

The GGG was told that it will be a Global MRE, which will include every hole drilled. Why would they do it any other way? Right? GGG here, The Buccos and EvenKeel will not have much to say, after the MRE. Actually, they could rtun out of words way before the MRE results are announced.

All gold mines in NL have been open pit mines and QWN have quite a few such shallow discoveries . Valentine Lake, just 100 km or so to the south of QW will be mined from 3 open pits with an average depth of 260 meters . Typically, mining of these origeonics begins as open pits and as those are mined out, mining of the  underground lodes are considered. Open pit mining is much cheaper than ...more

I also contacted the company and they confirmed the MRE will cover every hole and trench

Who on these posts can speak to spacing.  The drills.  For if the spacing is too large, it will not matter that the company says.  It is whether the QP says he can confidently assess the spacings confirm this.  As well, we see the rich zones in each drill.  What is the value between?  Is is zero....or a tenth of a gram?  Is it anything at all, or half the time ...more

Well according to Bucc and his buddy's they said the company was drilling holes to close together  I guess no matter what the company says or does there will be those that say it's wrong .The MRE will give us the answers we need to end atleast some of the negative speculation
