Tax lose selling

It has finished for 2024 inCanada as has to clear to ensure availability in2024 and short week coming up. 

can someone tell me it this is true for the USA taxes as well?

in Canada for donations and medical expenses Not necessarily calendar year need be used but is calendar year for losses.

The final day for tax loss selling in Canada this year is December 30th.

In theory you are 100% correct, but if it does not clear and into your account then you are out of luck.

Technically it's Dec31 2024 but the 3 day rule makes it dec 27th in most cases
