ignore him

many years ago on a different mining company board I encountered a know it all who arrived with long wordy posts to establish his experience/knowledge followed by never ending diarrahea in the form of advice about potential problems with the company. I put him on ignore, it made reading the board a lot easier. Most people did the same or they quit responding to him.

That company was a great long term investment, good mgmt, good properties and a solid plan to build mines and shareholder value.

I started reading the NGC board about 2 yrs ago, it was a good board for a small early stage company, not a lot of posting but worth reading.

Then something changed, the # of posts increased dramatically and the majority of the posts were a response to a poster who used long winded posts to establish his experience/knowledge and warn everyone about problems with NGC.

I wasn't seeing his posts because I previously had him on ignore. But most NGC posts are now responses to him. Even though I had him on ignore I still see all the response posts.

He's fishing for responses so he can dominate a board. He probably gets paid partially by the # of responses he can generate to show he's influencing the board. Don't feed him, don't help him build his presence. At the end of the day no one is buying/selling based on his comments but if he can draw most of the board posts into his discussion then he's succeeded.

The ignore is a good tool unless you enjoy responding to someone who is simply trying to get any type of response.

Yesterday I talked with someone who is working for NGC, they are trying to make changes that will improve how they get their message out to different types of investors. They have a very good story but they need to improve their messaging. They have good mgmt, good properties, good plan and the integrated graphite market is a great place to be. It's a great story and if more effectively disseminated it will attract a lot more investor attention. Then as they continue to reach milestones and succeed with their plan they will build share value.

I expect NGC to be a great long term investment.
