Is it Greg or Mr Bowes ?
For me, after years of talking to Greg at PDAC NGC booth 2115, until 2023 there was only 2 or 3 people there (Greg and I, maybe 1 other), it's Greg not Mr Bowes.
Greg would provide a "graphite state of affairs" summary that was usually less than inspiring for Bissett Creek potential. If you have been to Bissett Creek mine site as I have (part of DD), one would notice mining equipment from yesteryear sitting, copper stripped out from "midnight elves", trees growing up thru the openings as it's been many years since it was an operating mine. Luckily still fully permitted.
Given all the doom and gloom in graphite space outside China, it was interesting...my opinion...that Greg saw/sensed some green shoots of graphite opportunity when the opportunity presented itself to.....Gregory Bowes, CEO commented that: “This is a truly transformational deal that will elevate Northern from one of over 20 junior graphite companies looking for project financing to being the only North American and the world’s third largest¹ non-Chinese graphite producing company. In addition, Northern will have two large scale development projects in politically stable jurisdictions that will enable the Company to significantly expand production to meet growing demand from the EV/battery markets. He added that: “Following completion of the Transaction Northern intends to aggressively expand into value added EV/battery, graphene and industrial markets through both acquisitions and investments.
Kudos Greg, hope to see him at PDAC 2024, Greg missed 2023 recovering from a medical procedure.
Perhaps Mr Bowes, P Eng, MBA to the rest here
