Had you spoken with a certain GM representative or perhaps Nouveau Monde Graphite representatives and/or Panasonic representatives, such most informed persons would perhaps tell you that Nouveau Monde Graphite is more likely to be provisioned about $250 Million worth in capital loan guarantees by the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation and at least $100 Million in U.S. DOD and DOE grants.

1student are you aware that DOE can only fund projects in the USA. Something I was unaware of but was just informed of. 

Only the DOD can fund outside of USA.

obviously the International fund you refer to above can also work outside the USA.

youknowwhat, For the most part you would be correct. Although, I have to say that while the primary focus is on U.S. based entities, the DOE's programs may have specific eligibility criteria that could potentially include non-U.S. companies. We note that it would, however, be essential that a high level DOE administrative review of the details of each program be undertaken, in consultation ...more
