Solid state battery impact on lithium use
Cant quite get my head around these new solid state batteries that outshine traditional EV batteries in theory and early production.
My question is?
Does anyone have a link, not a baseless opinion, on how much less lithium is needed for solid state batteries?
The science baffles me as I've read both pro and con..
Thanx.

A solid-state cell with a lithium-metal anode will likely require a higher lithium material intensity (kg/kWh) than traditional Li-ion cells, despite the higher energy density of solid-state cells https://www.fastmarkets.com/insights/solid-state-sodium-ion-batteries-lithium-supply-crunch/#:~:text=A%20solid%2Dstate%20cell%20with,density%20of%20solid%2Dstate%20cells.
