News!

The news is so limited information. Ugh!

i Just read their news release. Ramu produces the same levels of nickel and cobalt, but they only sell a part. What are they doing with the other part? Speculating for higher prices? In my opinion a good strategy.

They must bee sitting on quite a bit of inventory to sell in Nickel and cobalt. From Q4-20 and Q1-22, that is quite a few tons of nickel and cobalt worth a fortune. It would be interesting to calculate.

Earlier post meant to be Q4-21 and Q1-22 of course.

They were sitting on about 7000 tons, with a value of about 230MUSD going in to Q2, let's hope they sold most of it during April to show a monster CF during Q2.

I think that they will wait until demand increeases again after China lockdowns. Something else to remember is that they sold a little less than half their normal amount for the same period but the proce of nickel was around 2x what it was previously, irgo though the volume was less RAMU is probably within 10-15% the same revenue amount as the previous quarter.   We've seen this ...more

the price has dropped from 1.70 to 1.20. there is clearly a lot of disappointment with the financial figures. the prospect of a lower than expected cash flow is not good for the share price. It is a pity that the management gives no explanation for these figures. Creating shareholder value is clearly not an opportunity. Filling their own pockets with stock options, on the other hand..... Why ...more

Be patient, first the Ramu figures are published and few weeks later, it's the turn or Nickel 28. In my opinion, the reason is simple. The price of Nickel was artificial high due to the cancelled contract. Then, the companies tried to use their nickel stock in place to buy new one. More over, China is in slow mode due to covid. I don't know the price of MCC but what I know is that Nickel28 ...more

about the dividend, isn't interesting for the stakeholders now. Indeed, as soon the debt is fully paid, the percentage in Ramu will increase from 8,56 to 11,3%. Moreover, there is a tax exemption for few years. Then, they must pay the debt to increase significantly the figures. Finally, they can also buy at the market price new shares in Ramu (to reach 20% I think). And don't forget they ...more
