Lots of hope
The technical stuff is too complicated for me. For about 7.0 MTA LNG production a plant would need 400MW to run refrigeration compressors, etc. The industry has it own promos-LNG Canadas decision to source all its power from British Columbias renewable electricity grid means it will be by far the cleanest in the world. ..it will undercut emissions from the average LNG facility world-wide by about 50%, while using fully renewable-generated electricity would reduce emissions even more. Electricity from wind or hydro and not natural gas derived electricity. ---Oceanic says there's a strong likelihood that BC Hydro "will not build another dam or large gas generation facility. It is clear that future energy supply must come from utility scale renewable resources like a wind project".
