Clarification

I had a long-term view about electrical demand in BC based on various sources with my earlier posts.

But for this proposed project, I'm confident there's hydro backup available. The assumption is that Northland would have not signed the definitive agreement to undertake the project, if it was otherwise.

Interesting, BC Hydro says--"We also continue to investigate alternative sources of energy, such as wind and wave power." Does this mean BC Hydro wishes to construct their own windfarms and wavepower facilities? When it's economically feasible and got the engineering challenges solved, wavepower may be the solution. The ocean can be a energy powerhouse.
