Trip

I had a nice trip to BC. Bald Eagles soaring in Vernon and Hwy 5. Vernon birds were directly overhead. Seemed always in pairs. Saw the second wildfire near Vernon. Someone flying a drone near the fire delayed the planes for over two hours.

It was dry. Yellow lawns in Okanagan and Vancouver.  Water restrictions in place. Heavy rain, hail and intense lightning encountered south of Princeton at a summit. Pinkish/white lightning colour eye level. One second, then the bang.

Moose stops right on #3 highway and looks at us. A lot of beautiful forest and waterfalls.
