If there's a will, there's a way

With hydrogen, there could be opportunities in the NW. The BC Government is supportive and will offer reduced electrical rates for new development. But allthis takes time to accomplish.

I'm sure Northland is in the loop, so hope for the best.

Maybe can incorporate green hydrogen. green ammonia and methanol production into one facility.

The B.C. Hydrogen Strategy will advance and provide support only for low-carbon hydrogen pathways, with carbon-intensity thresholds established in regulation.

A multi-product facility can be done. I assume natural gas will be used to produce the end products in this  Alberta. Multi-billion dollar ammonia and methanal plant proposed for northwestern Alberta - The Western Standard (westernstandardonline.com) But still require electricity. In this respect, BC may offer a competitive advantage to attract business by reducing electrical rates. The ...more
