Patchwork Quilt
Ok that's enough posting for now. Seeking a windfarm developer and discussions with First Nations. The compehensive BC Hydro initiative helps in this regard.
Hope everything works out. It's not easy to plan for the future and everything costs a lot of money. It's common to see initial cost estimates revised not just once, but several times. For example, dams and pipelines.
Not easy also to predict future electricity demands either. Constant revisions will be commonplace, but are now demanded by BCUC. The fact BC Hydro will have more power calls is a given. Have to build infrastructure big enough now to accommodate future power flows.
If anything surprises me, is that offshore wind can be cost competitive with other forms of power generation. If a major international windfarm developer be convinced of this also, it's step one.
I will step back for a while and let it flow. It's will be like making a patchwork quilt. The whole will be the sum of its parts.
