The interconnection process for all projects will follow CEAP. Only valid CEAP interconnection requests for network resources interconnection service (CEAP IR) received by BC Hydro, together with executed Interconnection Feasibility Study Agreements and the requisite deposits, will be accepted. Projects that do not have an accepted CEAP IR will be ineligible to participate in the Call for Power.

Must determine if it's feasible to connect the offshore windfarm to the grid. Underwater cables, substation facilities to be built by windfarm developer and connection to BC Hydro's transmission lines, if any exist or have to be built.

No easy stuff to determine, as future expansion plans may require a larger substation/transmission lines off the bat to have economies of scale.

It's high time Oceanic signs on an offshore windfarm developer.

BC Hydro/NDP government simply does not have any power availability in NW BC. Cedar LNG alone will tap out any surplus. LNG Canada Phase 2 and Ksi Lisims ditto. Major mines are all closing in on updated feasibility studies and are making requests to BC Hydro or like Seabridge spending cash for hydro.
