Got a callback.

Got a callback from the CEO.

The change in wording in their MD&A:

Feb 16, 2024: The goal is to partner with First Nations and a significant company who can quickly engage in continuing the development of the project and ultimately be a successful part of the spring 2024 BC Hydro call and future calls as they are announced.

May 15, 2024: The goal is to partner with First Nations and a significant company who can quickly engage in continuing the development of the project and ultimately be a successful part of the many BC Hydro power calls to meet the growing demand for electricity in the province and particularly in NW BC.

-----------------------------

Seems from the above, may not bid for the 2024 power call. Then a comment about the 200MW max for this power call, offshore wind requires a greater amount to justify the economics. Have to get a large windfarm developer for the long-term on board with First Nation participation. Looking forward to some updates.

---------------------

Large electricity demand in the NW area. Mining, LNG, possible hydrogen, Ridley Island Energy Export facility wil require a fair amount of power.

Transmission line from Prince George to Terrace. To put deliver electricity into the NW area, where will it be sourced? Site C would barely cover the Fortescue Green Hydrogen project  (1000MW) at Prince George. Need quite a few times Site C electricity. Even if decide to build, it may take 6-8years+.

Then some engineering talk. Electricity can flow both ways on a transmission line.

Promoting offshore wind as an viable option for the immediate region and beyond.
