Tesla fills Canadian Critical Minerals and Supply Chain job amid rumours of Canadian Gigafactory. Ladak was listed as a Senior Policy Associate for Tesla in the latest Quebec lobbyist registry filings. According to the filing, Ladak has been working with Tesla since August.

Telsa want to have 20 million a year production capacity by 2030. It is a no brainer that Tesla will set up at least 1 battery plant, 1 assembly plant and possibly directly invloved with Lithium/graphite processing plants for battery materials.  Tesla needs to expand continuously to meet the 2030 target. Ontario and Quebec both make good sense, near raw materials. The Power grid in both ...more
