hottubjohnny:

1.  expects NQ to range anywhere between $.70'ish and $.80'ish up until the next assay results are released, sometime during the 3rd or 4th week of october.  htj realizes that some in these parts only want to hear about $1+ in the next week, but while he would love to be wrong, htj just doesn't see it that way.

2.  expects more positive news with this upcoming release, and expects that by this time the private placement overhang will have been worked through and NQ share price moves through $1.

3.  believes that by Christmas there will have been two additional news releases detailing positive assay results and...

4.  believes that if the final dozen or so holes cut mineralization close to the past few, that there is, perhaps, a 5% chance that Agnico bites the bullet by next spring with a take over offer in the $3 range.  senior management (ie. the most senior) at Agnico are following along with the NQ story very closely, hottubjohnny approved fact.  of the remaining odds, 95% approximately, htj believes that nothing happens with Agnico in the near term, and that NQ resumes drilling in June to build this project out and add ounces.

5.  reminds everyone that NQ in Nunavut is not just pistol bay, but bazooka as well.  the significance of this should not be underestimated (in other words, this is key!!!)

6.  *assuming* continued positive drill results, htj does not see any way that Agnico does not end up owning NQ, at many multiples of the current share price, within 12 to 24 months.  check their business model.

now, the above is how hottubjohnny believes this will play out... however htj could be wrong as all of the above is dependant on the price of gold and the market holding up and most importantly drill results... but...

all of that said, htj believes NQ is really on to something special.  it has a huge land package in Agnico's backyard, cashed up, smart management, and pulling drill results.   htj believes this has real and legitimate potential to eventually play out as a ten or even fifteen-bagger.  patience will be required, htj has patience.

I would have to agree with Johnny on the prospective "Bazooka' target. This small outcrop showing that hosts IF with crosscutting mineralized with crosscutting quartz veins. Some very nice gold values returned in grab samples. People should realize that  gold in this  type of setting makes up the bulk of the area gold deposits. Gold in  IRON FORMATION. Very impressive ...more
