When the production line
is up and running....one would think cost of production would be less than importing the product. My question, are Gov't inspectors required to be on-site during production runs, assuring standards and regulations including down time maintenance, and does the company pay for the inspectors?

Nope.. I imagine like all food producers they have control points and have implimented HACCP and have magnet checks and weight checks along with other critical control points from raw products to finished out the door products.
