The beaches are overflowing with spring break revellers, and it is great to see.  The bars and streets were packed last night.  We love seeing the young enjoying their youth.  Governor Ron is doing a great job getting the Florida economy back into boom mode.  I don't think I saw a single "vacancy" sign lit during our walk last night.  A little overcast today, but expecting another gorgeous day for Sunday funday.
In response to questions:  had breakfast with another investor today - not invested in Nexoptic but said that the sentiment amongst those with a holding seems positive.  What he recalled was similar to what other posters have said, as have I --> that a period of silence is typical of companies in the position of dealing with majors who are tweaking on a new tech and application....that markets are nervous right now....that it is not overly liquid in the US and panicky sellers can drive the price down to an almost "no bid" situation.  Not sure the bottom is in already, necessarily, but are confident that better days are ahead in the not-too-distant future.  Tech dude believes they have deal(s) and the applications are being advanced by partner R&D.  Lack of patent still somewhat of a concern, but that can be risk-minimized through legal hocus-pocus.  
I'm unsure of the patent side....but this is the essence of what was communicated by a pal who I asked to take notes on the Nexoptic side of the discussion, as well as on a few of the PM holdings that are monitored by our canook ex-pat friends.

and another thing.......forgot this part...... they did talk about the covid impacts on companies' ability to meet face to face.  Canadian rules for travel can be extremely restrictive to travellers returning from foreign countries.  This was talked about by our mining-centric people from Canada.  They mentioned mandatory quarantines etc.  Lots of companies seem to be
