Time to show something.

Hey, I get it. We all need to be patient to let things play out, patents to be finalized, share structure to be reset etc. 

Yet, it kind of reminds me of that movie about the Avro Aero. How they tried to build both superior aircraft and a superior engine from scratch at the same time. Yet, it got to the point where the aircraft was ready and the engine wasn't and time was running out, faith was running out.  I know I'm paraphrasing here but the quote went something like this by the character played by Dan Akroyd  "It's time to get these birds in the air and show something." 

So, I think it's time to show something, anything to get shareholders back into believing in this company and what they hope to accomplish and save the shares from plummeting(unless that's what they are trying to do - hope not).
It doesn't have to be the thing just something, some kind of progress anything. 
Are we patient? Yes.
Is our patience running out? Oh yeah. 
I know the BOD or Rich have to be careful what they say but I think the ship is taking on serious water from our standpoint.
There's a saying in screenwriting, show don't tell. 
Time to show. 
Can only listen to the overwhelming silence for so long and the unsaid message of " Hey, it's all good, we got this...just a little longer."
Really..are we there yet??

do you know the real history of the Avero Aero? I don't think you do because the reason it was scrapped was because of stupid John Deifenbaker (conservative government) it was actually in conjunction with the US who did not want Canada to have a far superior air craft at the time and cooperating with them for other economic exchanges in which the Canadians got screwed on. You are absolutely correct  the program was scrapped  before full scale production  what a shame crazy huh?think of what might have been but it did make it quite far into the devopment stage  a number of planes were made in fact one even had a recorded test flight somebody or something spooked Diefenbaker and the rest is speculation good point though  it was in that

here is an article i think there is more to it though and you hit the nail on the head with Russians and Spotnik. What also happened it is in this article the cold war began and under Norad the Americans wanted ballistics more so than the Fighter jets the Avero. It actually broke speed records so people have it wrong when they read this article. It was a very advance jet actually and had it been

So true Diefenbaker's decision to take a knee definitely change the course of our history and further cemented,like you said, our culture of not always standing tall as a nation. Guess at times that is a strength,other times not so much. For sure, gotta support home grown ideas.
