45 million $$$ Poof ! Gone

Non-Cash Impairment Charge

The Company announces that it has determined not to make further investments or pursue its initial square aperture and prism lens designs after reviewing the costs, benefits, and feasibility of commercializing such technology. Such technology comprised NexOptic’s initial technology, which the Company acquired in 2017. In terms of quality, performance, manufacturability, and cost, NexOptic’s latest lens offerings are far more desirable to consumers and industry partners alike. The Company has determined to focus its efforts on its core DoubleTake system as well as its artificial intelligence and software capabilities. As a result, the Company expects to recognize a non-cash impairment charge of approximately $45 million against its 2019 year-end financial statements in relation to the patent acquired in 2017. NexOptic continues to move forward with its immediate and long-term strategy, advancing its core existing lens systems and expanding its portfolio of patent-pending lenses and artificial intelligence technologies.

Why do you focus on past mistakes? They took a chance on a potential disruptive technology and it didn't work out! But  you act like they didn't discover new technologies that have huge market potential!  If you focus on the past, you stay in the past!

Show everybody where it says it didn't work? Stick to the facts and stop creating your own narrative!
Comment by Damn1212 on Jul 08, 2024 11:30am
papa  Are you saying all thos techs worked and they sold ?  If you have the greatest tech since telescope ... You would think you would sell 1 or 2 items for a few $$$.  Yet NXO sold on none of those techs.  But thats normal right ?

So absurd it's almost funny.

How many shares did you buy AFTER this ? Poof. Your money is gone ! Notice again they paid with shares. How many shares.. was it say 40 million shares? Today, at 2 cents, that cost $800,000. Is that a bargain now? Also note the dates on the calendar. The purchase was in 2017, the write off was year end 2019, reported early 2020. More than 2 YEARS later, not the 2 weeks you love to exclaim with ...more

Moe  They did record it 0 in the financials immediately following the purchase in fins but im showing this so you can comment on the company and thier success or lack of it.   Also  45 Million was the value of the shares they sold ...  I know you dont care about shareholders loosing money .  Youve made that abundantly clear !  Im putting you on ignore now ...more

Thanks. Please do.  I'm tired of your attacking me and accusing me of making it about you when I correct you. Prime example right here. Nxo did NOT write off this investment weeks after making it. It was years later. There is a huge difference between your incorrect assertion and reality. Yes, your shareholdings actually are relevant whether I like it or not. As best I can tell you are by ...more

you blocked him for pointing out your nonstop lying! Give the people the facts and not this fabrication of nxo's history! Investors already know that nxo has made mistakes and has no revenue and the stock is down big! Act like an investor and find the balance! Only pointing out the negative tells me who you really are!

Papa  Just because we want the stock to go up doesnt mean we can overlook the facts.  0 sales  all products claimed to be ( Groundbreaking revolutionary ect ) have failed one after the other  0 communication from company past 2 months whil stock is Halted  Stock down and most shareholder capital wiped out Paul said it himself ... NXO has to show shareholders results. ...more

Are you saying that your not ok with nxo going up in value, because you don't like certain things?  Is this guy serious? He wants everyone to lose, to satisfy his grudge!
Comment by Damn1212 on Jul 08, 2024 1:10pm
Papa You need to reread ... I said we all want the stock to go up.  That includes me ! If NXO were to pull a rabbit out of their hats and get a huge contract that exploded the share price id be very very happy..  Alas Just because we want something to happen we can not excuse all the company has done wrong.
Comment by Papagiorgio11 on Jul 08, 2024 7:42pm
I dont need to reread anything! Your action speak louder than your words!! That's a fact!!
Comment by Damn1212 on Jul 09, 2024 7:45am
What actions ?  What about the company`s Actions ?  What do they tell you ?
Comment by Papagiorgio11 on Jul 09, 2024 9:34am
The companies actions tell me, that they are no different than me, they run into issues that weren't planned and they deal with it the best that they can! Damn1212,  Show me a successful company that didn't have issues and need to pivot at some point? Failure is only Failure,  if you didn't learn from it! Nothing wrong with paul admitting that something didn't work ...more

Im sorry But I have to disagree  Failing once in a while is one thing.  They bought Blade optics in 2017 for 45 Million $ in shares. As of today that brought in a whopping 0$ . Also seeing as they had been working with blade optics for years I have a hard time seeing how they did not know the product was not viable commercially. This should have been the first thing they checked before ...more

Explain how nxo is burning shareholders money?
Comment by Damn1212 on Jul 09, 2024 12:03pm
Im sorry Papa  Do you really not know the answer to that question ?  They have no revenue so every dollar they spend is shareholder $$$  Every single dollar.

Like Jack Nicholson line "you can't handle the truth". That's the actual truth damjam, not your "alternative facts" you got from KellyAnne. So he ignores it or stomps his feet and hides behind the swing set when the other kids don't indulge the bad behavior. I keep landing on the Cocoa Puffs alternative reality.
