Telluriton takes option on Melba property, Opinions?

My first comment is: Its about time.

They could not have dilly dallied much longer without totally losing the property.

The option cash component of $25,000 is miniscule and will not likely cover their expensive lawyer's costs.

Nordex should have moved the ore off the property years ago. They should also have brought a partner in with an option agreement when prices were higher. They would have received far more cash then as well as a better participating revenue stream.

What will 1 million shares of Telluriton be worth, if and when finally issued? Telluriton (Gold by the ton?) Is located at 61 Berkeley St Toronto ON, CA M5A 2W5. If anyone finds out information about this entity please advise us. I noticed Telluriton has one other claim under option in Melba Twp. claim # 4269021. They also have claims 4269017-18-19-20 in Benoit, the neighbouring twp.

Nordex retains a 2% net smelter royalty subject to a payout to the former owners if and when production ever occurs.

My opinion so far is it is better than nothing, but not much better so far.

The initial payment appears rather low. What did Canreos pay on signing when they optioned the property a while ago? The rest appears pretty normal. It seems that Telluriton (whoever they are I have no clue) is going to use Melba to go public. In any case the previous board is the one that should be thanked for saving Melba ownership. It was them who cleared title the property, which boards ...more

Wow you really do know a lot about the Melba property! Canreos, I haven't heard that name in years. They were affiliated with Balmoral Mines. Malcolm Slack, Koos Skipper.  Just from memory Nordex, through Cy Ross, optioned the property in 3 stages. Canreos would make milestone payments and would conduct exploration on their own dime. Nordex retained a 15% carried interest in the ...more

7247915 Canada Inc.'s registered office is: 126 DUNCAN AVENUE KIRKLAND LAKE ON P2N 1Y5 Canada https://www.google.com/maps/@48.145031,-80.029533,3a,75y,303.85h,81.92t/data=!3m4!1e1!3m2!1swpKY0CtvJeaNZ1g4-jdRvA!2e0 Definitely not the nicest office. Maybe after they list on the TSXV they will move to Bay St????

It was interesting (and probably still is) play. I was after Cy Ross to stake some claims around Kirkland Lake for a long time (beginning in early  1980s "gold boom"). I also knew old Hurds. Eventually Cy moved on the Melba, and I thought that was exciting move on Nordex part. I agreed with Cy that Slack and Co did not drill right. Perhaps full potential of Melba is only beginning ...more

Looking at the press releases on this over the last couple of years, it appears the former Board was in place when the deal with Benton was announced and ultimately fell apart due to the ownership issues that they must not have been able to clear up. A year later In may 2013 the new Board announced these issues were resolved. With the lost opportunity with Benton by the former Board and the ...more

loosegoose, as always you have no clue about the  facts. Originally, Melba was acquired by Cy Ross on behalf of Nordex in the 1980s from the  Hurds family, well respected local prospectors..It was done in a typical fashion of the day, by a handshake of two honourable men  ( deal like that would be hard, if not impossible,  to reach by the current bunch). The transfer of ...more

In due respect go and read the press releases put out on the Melba property. My statements are consistent with what was disseminated publicly. I will again choose to believe what is confirmed in writing and not your continual biased spin on things.

You are totally hopeless
Comment by Bean_and_Dunn on May 16, 2014 2:44pm
So Loosey, What precisely are a million shares of Telluriton worth? At today's price absolutely nothing.  The same Jim Taylor was at the helm when the Benton deal fell apart because title was not properly transferred. He has been there since April Fool's day 2003. He had all kinds of time to get the title to the property straightened out. He had eleven full years to do so. He also ...more

Can you provide proof that the ownership issue was sorted out in 2012? If not your statements are very misleading.
