Foresst, I'm gonna share the fool proof way of buying a new listing. When any stock newly lists, it is not available for electronic trade, phone in orders only. That is the day to buy, Day 1. Also, you're sort of right, don't buy right away in the morning on Day 1, wait a few hours before phoning in your order.   Ok sure, I guess I have should have been more specific. The banking institutions don't trade electronically until Day 2. I go through TD Waterhouse.
