Isn't it due to 888 and Ranks' intention to bid on William Hill and William Hill, since NYX's acquisition of Openbet, being a very large NYX shareholder? William Hill also having no CEO at the moment increase the uncertainity of William Hill's future which I guess the stock market also believes affect NYX's future, but I believe in NYX and just increased my position with +30%.

I looked back at the agreement. NYX will be supplying software to WH for awhile still.  I ciut and pasted a piece from the NYX purchase of OpenBet whereby just the OB technology will take 3 years to modernize in association with WH at a cost of 10 million pounds. That's guaranteed.  I can't find how long the WH deal is for though. likely much longer than 3 years. Why put in

Agree. There is also the shares from the last issuance hitting market another 50 M.  Probably some effect as well.

The shares sold do not reflect massive selling. We're looking at higher than usual selling. Today more than double daily trading. That's not 50 MM coming onto the market. That's people like you and me selling for various reasons. Perhaps some institutions as well but not 50 million shares.  Those buy the way are tied up.  sb
