Why The Massive Sell-Off Recently??
I have tried to undertand why the market has been reacting so negatively to this company's best efforts to promote their resources to the public. The company's CEO Joe Hebert has made the greatest of effort to get the message across to all potential investors. His efforts have been truly remarkable!
But my investigation on Canadian insider has revealed that two of the directors of the company including, the Chairman of the Board, engaged in some significant profit taking during the month of December.
Profit taking by shareholders is a normal course of events, but when exercised by corporate insiders at a time when the company is just about to release a 43-101 resource estimate of some considerable significance, it is a disgraceful and contemptable action!
This sends exactly the wrong signal to the market! At least most of the corporate insiders have maintained their positions which is a matter of some relief! But the actions of these two individuals is something that the company needs to address!
This may have help lead to the excessive recent sell-off that shareholders have most painfully been experiencing. I have sent an e-mail to the CEO of the company and told him, in no uncertain terms, that these two self-serving indivuals, should be strongly rebuked!
Any other Outcrop shareholder should do the same!
It's up to you and it only takes a few moments of your time. This kind of action by directors of the company is unwarranted. Any such profit taking should have occured, at least from the common shareholder's perspective, after the upcoming press release was made! I am deeply offended by their actions!
But by no means does my rebuke negate the fact that this company remains a good investment. And I do expect the upcoming press release will confirm this fact! As far as I am concerned the CEO of this company is a trustworthy individual and he deserves kudos for all the wonderful work that he had done!
At least now we know why some members of the Outcrop shareholder community, may have lost some of their confidence by dumpiong their positions. It is a shame that we all paid a price for the actions of a few.
As always, their loss may have led to opportunity for others. And it still never too late, to buy back in! But to the common shareholder, everyone's money, is important!
I am holding to my position, although I do expect, it may some take time, for others, to forgive!
All the best! Java
