Gold up because of that event would be terrible for say, 3/4 of the population. Only the rich and very rich would do well in that environment. Anyway, they, them... you know, the ones that most vote for, they got AND KEEP GETTING us all in a bind. Sadly you are talking in riddles so I am not sure what you are trying to say. My post was very simple if the debt ceiling is not lifted and Congress allows the default on the debt, then GOLD soars and the USA dollar goes south along with reserve currency protection.
