Does change in Governorship in Sinaloa affect Oroco permits?

Looks like we have a change in party in Sinaloa in today's elections. No change in Chihuahua.

Anyone know if this has any impact on Oroco drill permit or future operations?

Not sure about Sinaloa specifically, but overall, AMLO lost seats from my reading. I'm assuming that's a positive. Remains to be seen about the local level. Hopefully we hear something soon.

governors are innagurated dec 1st with permits expected any time now OCo will be well into drilling before anything changes and i dont expect anything will change with amlo losing power federally..overall a good outcome for mining in mexico investment dollars will be leaving peru for a while so it looks like the universe of acquirers has become even larger since they wont be keen to put billions ...more
