$2.05 -Thanks Mr. Market

Thanks for 5k more shares at $2.05 Mr. Market. If I wasn't already overloaded with shares, I would be buying tens if not hundreds of thousands more at these prices. Divergent agendas and opinions makes for a vibrant market but I don't get why anyone would be selling with drilling now underway and likely expansion exponentially of the known minerlization. Here's to a tasty steak dinner.

How many wells the company has drilled so far?

Good for you. Lots of action today.

This is one of the side effects of being in a stock that is so sensitive to volumes. MS running a site where everyone moves at his every word leaves the rest of us who are focused long term on Oroco to be at the whim of his MCE website followers who move to reallocate capital whenever Mariusz says jump. Not saying it's right or wrong but it's our reality. Good news is that today's dip ...more

Schr, I agree with you on the lack of liquidity, which I pointed a few times to the company corporate finance head. I was given rows of heavy volume history but this was either MCE or others when there was excitement. The lack of broadbased, note the word BROADBASED, awareness with institutional brokers and retail brokers in Canada for example, makes this stock extremely sensitive to variations of ...more

Agreed Steve.Steak if once we get taken out at CAD 9 by end of 2023 I upped my target.
Comment by SteveC2020 on Sep 17, 2021 11:19am
$9 for steak now? I guess that's fair as a nice steak dinner is probably double the price now too! I know you think a $15 buyout price is unrealistic - so how about a gentleman's club bonus at $15?
Comment by auricgold on Sep 17, 2021 1:17pm
Hi Steve, yes, inflation is rearing its head again, which is great for us at OCO. at 15$ I will politely and pilitically correctly decline the gentlemen club, but I wll provide Dom Perignon for everyone at the steak dinner. Would that work?

ALL IS OK  !!!!
Comment by auricgold on Sep 19, 2021 6:10pm
This is exactly my point. Its pretty scary that the minute a couple of people sell the stock tanks. This is exactly why we need broadbased coverage and retail brokers on this. Should be very doable if iR gets its act together and hires a person on contract that has all the relationships with retail. OCO is a venture stock with over 400 Million market cap. Having Torry Hills as the only video once ...more

jebus auric why dont you and mce get a room  (eggplant and kissy lips emoji) everyone isnt thinking what you are  OCO got ahead of itself like it has at least 3 times before and now its back to its long term uptrend  retail and retail brokers is never the answer..they'd have stripped the warrant and wed be at a dollar.. every time this happens someone belly aches IR isnt ...more

SLS year to date has more than doubled. OCO has gone from 1.80 to 2.47 (not even 50% up). The point is not the performance, its the liquidity. If God forbit all of MCE investors sell just 25% of their OCO then we WOULD be at 1$. This is why we need retail and liquidity.  A public company close to 500 mill in market cap needs to build its liquidity. The brokers you are talking about are from ...more

(your timeframe not mine) there was 13.5 million dollars buying in OCO just in canada probably similar in the US , over the summer when volunes are low..some of that was me and my group.. i started buying at 3.24 and bought friday at 2.50 happy to do it.. i dont see any other stock with the near term positive catalysts as OCO  OCO has made ...more

What do you think about the crazy tax proposal in Chile and Peru?  Do you think all South American countries might follow?  That will kill most profits above 3$.

Wealth is created at the drillbit not the slide deck. Which isn't to say IR isn't important but IR's job is to generate awareness and understanding so the market pays attention to the company's fundamental value creation, not to generate value itself. Oroco's IR effort has generated sufficient capital markets awareness such that its key catalysts (such as the legal resolution ...more

Totally agree with Bullstock.  We have done amazing considering drilling is now being done.  It should do really well for us once the drill results come in.  1. We have the funds 2. We have no debts. 3. Royalty pays for most of the overhead operating expenses 4. Our historical are well known and substantiated by more than one professional consultant 5. Drilling being done 1000m ...more

Clearly, Oroco has passionate, hopefully not vitriolic, investors who as far as I can tell, all agree that this is a great investment with a special team. I would further venture to guess that they would agree more liquidity is a good thing. As owners, who would not support constantly finding ways to improve, even if there is disagreement how much of any one thing (e.g. IR) is optimal at any given ...more

I dont think you understand my point. The point is not to issue NRs, even though they could use a few more. The point is to tell the story to brokers, calling presenting etc. i will rest my case today. Obviously everyone here has drank the cool aid and cannot see objectively. LIQUIDITY is what drives markets the most. Results, sure, off course, you need an underlying base of value, but then, you ...more

FYI Oroco had C$1.35 million in buying today when you add in the us and cdn sides. that puts it #26/1600 companies  top 1.6% of all companies on the exchange for dollar volume.  Oroco is doing a great job getting the word out..

The current stock price, whether up $2 or down $.20, will not change the amount of copper in the ground. I have no reservations whatsoever that when the time comes, Adam will make sure that the people that need to know what this company is worth will know. Slowly advancing, in a pretty, smooth, steady incline, or looking like the Fed money supply the last couple years, makes no difference to me ...more

obviously there was selling. simple math if you are down 4% due to markets off curse. You cannot count the US. Today in Canada there was good volume, unfortunately on the selling part.

OCO down 4% FIL down 5.4% SLS down 9.3% what were you saying about retail? SLS down double OCO.. your rantings dont hold water OCO has an amazing shareholder base.. well informed and not prone to panic..(thanks Adam) I wouldnt trade it for any other company..one reason i went in big on oco was specifically the lack of retail exposure.. Also why can i not count the us liquidity? volume is ...more

Hey Caliche, are you buying all day long? Looks like you got your opportunity here, you and your "group". Wheres the buying you said you are doing all day long? People are selling blocks of 100,000 shares at a time!

Absolutely i was buying today! not all day long .. i waitied till the impatient or nervous nellies dumped it to 2.20 and stepped in, as did my group, my friends, in real life and online, oh yeah and OCO insiders..honestly i thought it was you selling the 100K to prove a point.. either way you are on the wrong side of this .. time will tell.. also $2,665,384 dollars bought into OCO today is that ...more
