Takeover appears very close
Ross Beatty sure seemed to think a takeover was close a couple of months ago. It's interesting this way LUM has been moving. We saw the price go up as gold was going sideways but now that gold is booming LUM stock is going sideways. I think we're in a quiet period to wait to see if this takeover actually goes through this time (which I suspect it will) and if it does then knowing Ross Beatty we could be in for an easy 20 point gain overnight. My guess is this lag will end soon.

I very much doubt that Beatty will let the stock go for 80 cents.

Currently LUM has a NPV of $4.2 billion with approximately 450 million outstanding shares. That comes to a value of $9.33/share. Buyout price could be higher or lower. Time will tell.

Last day in the 2nd quarter maybe in the last 1/2 we could here more news any thoughts..strong hold no volume $$

Gold currently in a holding pattern. A breakout toward $2,500 may spur a buyout. Until then it is a waiting game, and a good time to add shares.
