Long halt

Doesn't really matter when there's only one individual trading the shares.

The transaction between Glencore and SCZ took some time to settle. The stock was in a trading halt for a few days and everything was finalized 5 months later. This kind of transaction can take weeks or even months. This process is quite normal. It is only a matter of patience. Today we are extremely happy with this transaction which adds great value to the company. We wish you good luck.

Glencore carried out drillings on the property only 2 years ago, but they have not made the results public: https://thegaspespec.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/Spec-November-20-2019.pdf Did they conclude that it was not worth reopening the mine? If it’s the case, they will get 33% of PP for nothing. Glencore’s geologists and financial experts are among the best. Maybe Glencore found something ...more

Good post.  You only need to look at Trevali to see Glencore has them by the balls. Quite frankly over the past 5 years Osisko metals stock performance has been nothing short of an embarrassment.  Also it's quite disconcerting that for so long we have been told Zinc is going to be the next hot commodity only for the OM to switch to a copper project which tells me there's no ...more

Exactly. The trouble with zinc is that most people do not understand the zinc market, or the difference between refined zinc and zinc concentrate. Electricity is the issue at the moment, not zinc concentrate supply. Glencore will exact a heavy price on Osisko and Osisko shareholders as the Trevali example shows.

No problem (any problem) they take it back ? LOL

An analysis of less an hour shows that this is the dumbest deal I’ve seen in years, at least for us. It proves my point that they don’t have much work to do in their days, otherwise they wouldn’t have time to get involved in something like this.   OM was initially supposed to use the Osisko brand to buy great projects from small companies that didn't have cash or had less expertise. Now ...more

Not so long ago, their point was to divest (by passing them to Bob Wares and KMT) of OM mining assets in New Brunswick, in order to focus on PP. Now a few months later, OM is again picking up old heritage assets, like a scrapper going down the street the night before garbage day to pick over cans in the recycling blue boxes.  Will it be long before there is another "deal" where we ...more
