News is definately good.  But we have to realize that the resource estimate for wennot is still open at depth and strike so the resource estimate will only grow.  Omai now has the rights to the property adjacent to the east and you can bet your bottom dollar that they did not pick up that property because there was nothing there!!  When they start drilling the eastern flats it will ...more

It's a good resource.   A couple of questions as considering buying back in.  Anyone know what the impact if it goes back into mining on the River to the south.  Will NGOs make a stink.  Didn't realize it was that close to the pit.    Also what is the strip ratio for the pit I don't see it in the release. Hello all, got in this stock on the advise of a friend  when the new management took over this year. What are everyones thought about the grade of the resource? I was hoping for higher grades but happy to see this many ounces. As cash strapped as they are,  going to burn a lot of money to hit these narrow structures. Will these narrow structures be mineable? Of course grade is a factor for open pit.  If the strip ratio is low at say 1:1 than the grade is doable when considering the cost of oil to run the mine as there is no electricity.  If the strip ratio is say 10:1 than the grade may not work.  They need to provide the waste to ore ratio.   Gold was at $400 when it closed but oil was also at $20.   the strip ratio is ...more

Grades of 1.31 Indicated and 1.5 Inferred are Excellent.  Inferred suggest grades improve at depth..  Similar grades were mined by Cambior profitably from  Wenot  when gold is was sold for sub $400.  Even factoring inflation, 1800 gold will provide high profit margin.  Most  open pit operations mine gold below 1 g/ton.     Wenot will need to be ...more
