Omai resources will increase-Interest is there
1.6 million oz resource estimate to date with huge potential for near surface expansion to the east and west with a good chance of expansion to the eastern flats also. Wenot is also open at depth. I would expect the resource estimate to climb to closer to 3 million oz in the fall based on the information released so far with the initial drill results. And they keep seeing visalble gold in all drill cores.
We also have the historic resource at Fennel by Iamgold of near 1.5 million oz based on 46 drill holes. Some of the drill results are over 1000 g/ton. Cant wait until they redrill some of these holes. They could be game changers. There are also very good drill and trenching results from blueberry hill, snake pond, and broccoli hill which will also expand the Fennel resource estimate. Fennel has a quartz diorite. Again, with historic drill results we know the mineral resource extends to 967 m and was still open at depth.
Omai has the potential to a world class mineral resource. Where do most new gold mines get developed. Usually near a past producing gold mine. look where Omai is!!!!!!!
