This property keeps getting better and better
Looks like the exploration team found the sweet spot at "Snake Pit". Imagine another Gilt Creek deposit. After the new NI 43-101 resource estimate enhanced by the drilling at the western section of Wenot we will probably jump over the 5 million oz or at least close to it. Once they drill a few more holes in the "Snake Pit" target we could be sitting on another huge Gilt Creek type deposit. Who knows our resource estimate could climb to well over 7 million oz. I can see why CEO (Elaine) is pretty confident that Omai will be the next big mining camp in Guyana. I am even more excited now. Can't wait for the AGM tomorrow to hopefully find out the 2024 exploration plans.
"A number of exploration targets were drilled early in the year as well as the two targets, SP and BBH, at the end of the program. We remain confident that there are additional gold deposits on this well endowed Omai gold property. Wenot became the priority for most of the drilling in the second half of 2023 due to the continued success and the prospect of advancing towards a preliminary economic assessment ("PEA"). Several of the exploration targets generated results warranting additional work, including the SP target where new results show potential for further near surface, high grade mineralization."
