..even with the dividends..just how did we get here, now trading at $5.18 right now ?? Remember, it was last year and a bit, when management REVERSED their policy about exploring for business outside of TANZ..even in spite of a allegedlly more BUSINESS FRIENDLY govt, there is still little progress  as to the future of ORCA as a going concern-just so annoying with what could be ORCA;s potential but more lately if i had sold and re-invested in just about ANY oil or gas stock...dwdc

Do you think that ORCA is suffering from being a low volume, closed ended, gas, utility-like entity that is rather specialized and contained? I haven't really seen signs of under preformance from the company itself, it looks more like the weakness is due to investors jumping ship to higher volume, more growth and opportunity companies who are more pure play in pricing to barrel of oil or

Sorry I hit the post button with a finger while typing. I just wanted to end by saying yes it seems like your worst preforming stock seems more about your selection of this and what to do with it or lack of foresight in changing sedimate which is east to be caught out on, but I don't think you have a terrible selection here as it seems like they were able to do a good job through the pandemic

It's my worst performer as well but I hang on for the dividend and for auld lang syne. We don't get excitement like the other stocks because we don't get pice like other companies. Most of our gas is sold for power generation in Tanzania at prices agreed to by the government. And sometimes payment is delayed. you do understand that these so called divis are in fact all but INTEREST INCOME payments right?  maybe some good news, ALL AFRICA carrying some news about recent capacity expansions/ tie ins work recently completed at SONGO/SONGO ie compressors/ well work -overs??? Very generic but the gas is needed as hydro power much lower due to drought conditions in some areas of TANZ...would bre nice to

Ya my worst performing energy stock by a long shot. I do think this has a lot of potential. The margins this company makes are incredible. And to population is their and theirs no lack of need in the country. My only concrens are the gas reserves are nothing impressive from what the reports ive read are saying. Also with the new hydrodam suposed to be coming online next year their going to need
