If there were oil shows at Abary-1 and Jaguar off shore and at Drill Village Mahaicony but no real deposits found does this prove oil generation and migration? If we are sure of this updip migration towards SW and SE from the point on source rock feeding block 58 then where is the most likely place to find it? If there was less weight on source rock at K1 for a period of time than across at Maka but they now at same Santonian depth does this mean oil at Kawa would be older and closer to surface or younger and deeper relative to Maka ? Those who have the analysis basically have that answer in paragraph that says Drill village Mahaicony above the table

Dragonfly454 or anyone else, can you give an educated guess of how far down they are right now? Past the Campanian as yet or soon? TIA

Cant tell you myself. But volume of shares traded is to low for any leak.i personally think the same same with Apache with the JV sitting in wait.

Hi soulfire, We should have gone through the Campanian by now, at least partially, more probably fully. Extrapolating from the last official press release stating 74% of total depth etc, the most likely situation right now is that they run and cemented the 9-5/8" and are ready to drill below i.e. towards the Santonian. I saw on another post some hypotheses that they may have already TD' ...more

Thanks OCM Hope we get some meaningful info tomorrow. It was mentioned that this Rig has a tendancy to finish ahead of schedule.... Anyway let them take their time and drill the well safely to TD with the best outcome possible. Hanging in there....afetr 18 plus years GLTA

So theoretically we are at a point where leaks could be possible: ie from drilling through the Campanian with no oil shows

If there were leaks of no OIL SHOWS the volume would have been way more for CGX and FRontera. BTW we are going up now
