So let's look at this
From Maersk's perspective..if they strike oil and they have a known/ fixed sailing time and Spud date in Trinidad..why hurry and you can take your time and make money drilling at day rate ..after all if the company is happy with the strike they wouldn't mind you being "cautious and safe" going the full timeframe as opposed to blowing through to TD when there is no strike after all then you look to save the client some money and look efficient so you get a next gig for the rig..lol psychoanalysis creeping in now..thoughts DirkEinstein? What's the Freudian explanation? lol

That is very true to what's going on. There is no reason to hang around a dry hole and waste the clients money when they are going to use you again. Just good PR .

So Maersk slows down or speeds up depending on a strike or strike 3, both coinciding with the mid December schedule? We talking a logical theory or conspiracy theory?

Deffo conspiracy theory there mate...I know nun of how contracts are lined up ..but with little else to do in terms of information on which to make decisions the idle/perplexed mind goes into hyper drive lol ..some Ancient Alien theorists believe..it must be aliens

I like strike 3.Has a ring to it that I like. Now when Total took over the drilling with the contract with Apache what was the rig agreement with Apache I can't seem to remember or find.Maybe it's not FEC'S problem or OYL'S problem anymore. Just a thought.

Doesn't seem like any of you know how to read. The report clearly states November 2021. Not November 21, 2021. From what I gather from the report... it only refers to the actual or expected month and year.
